How much dry dirt (in pounds) and sand (in pounds) is there in a hole that is 9.3 ft deep, and 91.7 inches in diameter located in Australia, non-desert area, ground level and at 23C outside temperature, also with no wind or rain ?

On a table are two iron rods- one blue, one red. Other than their color, the only difference between them is that one is a magnet. Their weight, size, and feel are identical. Also on the table are:

Magnets have 2 poles but in the middle the two poles cancel out. Whichever bar sticks to the other's middle means it is the magnet. No need for the random pieces of crap.

hehe yep the random pieces of crap were just distraction. stick the 2 bars in a "T" formation. if they stick the upright is the magnet if they dont the crossbar is the magnet.
the magnetic field of a bar magnet is such that it is very strong at each end (the poles) and virtually non existent in the centre. therefore sticking them in "T" formation is the easiest way to ascertain the magnet
